The State Bank of India (SBI) increased cash deposit limit upto Rs 2,00,000 (Rupees two lakh only) through the Cash Deposit Machines/Cash Point in their own accounts through the ATM Debit card and “SME Insta Deposit Card”.

The State Bank of India (SBI) increased cash deposit limit upto Rs 2,00,000 (Rupees two lakh only) through the Cash Deposit Machines/Cash Point in their own accounts through the ATM Debit card and “SME Insta Deposit Card”.

The announcement was made in a statement issued by the Bank on Friday. The limit has been enhanced from the present Rs 49,900.

One more additional feature in the CDM is that from now on, customers can deposit in their loan accounts, Recurrent Deposit accounts and PPF accounts, besides the presently permitted Savings and Current accounts. This will enable the customers to avoid long queues at the branches, thus saving their valuable time.
