The MCA students from School of Computer & Information Sciences at the University of Hyderabad (UoH) bagged the position of overall winners at VERSION\'16, which is a national level ‘Technical Symposium’ for MCA students.

The MCA students from School of Computer & Information Sciences at the University of Hyderabad (UoH) bagged the position of overall winners at VERSION'16, which is a national level ‘Technical Symposium’ for MCA students.

The meritorious students were, Ankit Aabad, Shamik Chakrabarty, Sarabjeet Singh, Sagar Suman, Smriti Singh, Himanshu Soni and Abhishek Kumar Tiwari.

The event was organised by the Department of Computer Applications, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli on August 20th and 21.

The team of five students from second year won first position in five events and second position in two others. There were a total of 30 teams participating, including teams from various NITs, Pondicherry University and PSG College of Technology.

In addition to the on spot events, there were other online events conducted as well, which were open for participation to all students. The students of UoH secured first place in contests like, Gem-O-Quest, Mystery Box and Codewave.

The annual All India MCA Meet, which started in 1991, celebrated its silver jubilee with this edition of VERSION.
