It’s the pink time again

As a part of the ‘Pink Ribbon Campaign’ by Ushalakshmi Breast Cancer Foundation, and in a bid to create awareness on breast cancer, iconic monuments in the city, which includes Charminar, Buddha Statue, Prasads imax, Ravindra Bharati and KIMS hospitals will be illuminated in pink on Friday.

This will also mark the beginning of the International Breast cancer Awareness month (October), making Hyderabad the only city in South Asia where so many buildings and monuments turn PINK year after year. The Pink Ribbon Campaign is successfully being conducted for the seventh year in a row.
