A book on Project Management in IT Services ‘Life of a PM in Support & Maintenance’ was launched in the city recently.
Written by Customer Services Director at Oracle India, Ravikumar Peddibhotla, the book covers different phases of project management from kickoff to closure, explaining realistic scenarios working with clients on a day-to-day basis.
It aims at coaching first time, aspiring and practicing PMs on the intricacies of managing application support and maintenance projects.
Speaking on the occasion, the author said: "The journey of a Project Manager in an IT Services world today is a pretty complex and calls for a lot of skills.
I have attempted to document my experiences as a PM that can be used by many to make their projects successful."
The COO of MindTree Ltd NS Parthasarathy, who was present on the occasion, lauded the efforts of the author and wished in success.
