The curtain raiser for ‘Bakers Technology Fair’ marked the celebrations of ‘Bakers Day’ in the city over the weekend. The event, organised by The Society of Indian Bakers along with their regional associates, had members cutting a cake and celebrating the achievements of the industry over the years.

Senior Consultant of Bakers Confectioners and Hospitality along with MS Nagaraju - President of Telangana State Hotel & Restaurant Association; Prabhu - Vice President of Hotel Restaurant Equipment Manufacturers Association; Chef Geetha Krishnan - Founder of Spark art of Baking; Dr Dayakar - Sr. Scientist at Indian Institute of Millet Research; Khan – General Secretary of Biscuit Wafer Manufacturers Association and Barkhat - Secretary of UBCL along with Amin Parthabini from UBCL participated at the event.

The Bakers Technology Fair (BTF) 2016 is scheduled to be held at Hitex Exhibition Centre between November 11 and 13. In addition, ‘The India Pastry Challenge’ will be held on November 12.

“The Fair will facilitate the display of myriad list of products and services offered to the Bakery, Confectionery, Food service and Sweet & Snack Industry and enables all categories of Bakery, Confectionery, Sweet - Snack Producers and Food Industry to find smarter solutions for their business under one roof,” said Prabhu.
