AsfawDingamo, Ethiopian’s Ambassador to India and Asalf H/Georgis, Ethiopian Minister Counsellor-1 (Education), met Osmania University Vice Chancellor Prof S Ramachandram on Wednesday at the OU Vice-Chancellor’s chambers and sought his help to get admission to 70 Ethiopian research scholars into various faculties at Osmania University. 

Hyderabad: AsfawDingamo, Ethiopian’s Ambassador to India and Asalf H/Georgis, Ethiopian Minister Counsellor-1 (Education), met Osmania University Vice Chancellor Prof S Ramachandram on Wednesday at the OU Vice-Chancellor’s chambers and sought his help to get admission to 70 Ethiopian research scholars into various faculties at Osmania University.

The Ethiopian officials visited Osmania University to know the well-being of the Ethiopian students pursuing education at Osmania University. The officials were extremely satisfied with the teaching and infrastructural facilities at Osmania University.

OU Vice-Chancellor said that as per the rules and regulations of the UGC and the University, admission into research studies will be given to the Ethiopian students.

He promised the Ethiopian Ambassador all possible help. He suggested the University Foreign Relations Office (UFRO) officials to look into the matter and take a decision at the earliest.

OSD to VC Prof Ch Gopal Reddy, UFRO Director Prof. G.B. Reddy and other officials participated in the discussions.
