Though Sri Swarupanand Saraswathi Ji Maharaj was to visit the temple and present the processional deities of Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy and Parvathi Devi to the temple, on behalf of him Govindananda Saraswathi took part in the Purnahuti of the Chandi Yagam ritual.

​Vemulawada (Rajanna-Sircilla): The three-day Sata Chandi Maha Yagam being organised at the Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple concluded on a devotional note here on Tuesday.

Gracing the occasion was Dwaraka Peetham Sri Sri Sri Govindananda Saraswathi. Though Sri Swarupanand Saraswathi Ji Maharaj was to visit the temple and present the processional deities of Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy and Parvathi Devi to the temple, on behalf of him Govindananda Saraswathi took part in the Purnahuti of the Chandi Yagam ritual.

He also presented the processional deities to the temple. It’s learnt that Swarupananda who is scheduled to visit Vemulawada from Warangal left for Hyderabad as he was indisposed.

The seer is on south India tour as part of 2,500th annual celebration of the Jagadguru Shankaracharya Maha Samsthanam Badri Jyotirpeetham and Paschimamnaya Dwaraka Sarada Peetham.

After participating in the Purnahuti, Minister for Endowments A Indrakiran Reddy, local MLA Chennamaneni Ramesh Babu and temple executive officer Dusa Rajeshwar reviewed and inspected the temple development works.
