Water harvesting pit bills to be paid soon

​Karimnagar: The beneficiaries, who constructed water harvesting pits, will get their bills within 10 days, the Joint Collector (JC) Badri Srinivas said, responding to a call from Karunakar Reddy of Vediri village under Ramadugu Mandal.
Speaking to the denizens through ‘Dial Your Collector’ programme here on Monday, the JC said that all pending bills pertaining to the construction of water harvesting pits will be cleared in about 10 days as the government was reportedly releasing the funds soon.
Responding to a complaint from Rajaiah, the JC said that action will be taken against the Korapally (Jammikunta mandal) Sarpanch if the latter is found guilty of siphoning off Rs 3 lakh gram panchayat funds.
The JC directed the municipal officials to take necessary action when a resident of Kapuwada, Srinivas, complained about the potholes on the Housing Board-Kaman road.
