Safety centre inaugurated at NTPC
Safety at workplace tops in the chart of NTPC works, reiterated Prasant Kumar Mohapatra, ED-Ramagundam while inaugurating the Safety Induction Centre at Telangana Super Thermal Power Station site area on Wednesday.Â

Safety of manpower as well as equipments comes first while executing plant activities. As the the plant activities in Telangana Project site will increase in the coming days, this safety centre will take centre stage while educating workers on safety aspect, Mohapatra added.
Earlier, M N Prasad, GM (Project) has welcomed the guests and stressed on the Zero Incident. U K Dasgupta, GM (O&M); S R Bhavaraju, GM (Technical Services); D S G S S Babji, GM (Operation), Safety officials and Office Bearers of Union and Association also spoke on the importance of safety.
During the occasion, the dignitaries hoisted the Safety Flag and NTPC Flag followed by release of Safety Induction Video and Safety Checklist Book.
They also inaugurated the Photo Exhibition showcasing the Telangana Project journey. The fire fighting demo carried out on the occasion was another attraction of the event.
