Nizamabad: Soya farmers in the district are facing hardships after their crop spread over 80,000 hectares was damaged in the recent rain.

With the old system in force, farmers continue to incur losses. They are also getting a low price after their stocks got soaked in the heavy rains.

As farmers are making a beeline to dispose of their stocks in local market, several unscrupulous persons, especially the middlemen are taking advantage and are forcing them to sell their produce at a very low price.
