Addressing a press conference on Thursday, committee member and MLA Chintala Ramachandra Reddy said that the Governor of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh ESL Narasimhan, Governor of Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu Ch Vidyasagar Rao, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, Union Ministers M Venkaiah Naidu, Bandaru Dattatraya and others will participate in ceremony.

Ganapati Sachidananda Swamy, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and Tirumala Jeeyar Swamy are also invited to the event. Reddy said that Chinna Jeeyar Swamy was born on Diwali 60 years ago and became a sanyasi at 35 years of age on February 21.

As part of the week-long celebrations, Tirunakshatra Mahotsav is being celebrated from Monday at JIVA campus at Shriramnagar, Muchintal mandal in Shamshabad.

He said that Sri Brahma Maha yagam is currently underway at JIVA Campus, which will end on October 31 with poornahuti. Abhishekam will be performed with 1,000 kalashalu on the same day.

Reddy said that a 216ft Panchaloha statue of Ramanuja Jeeyar Swami will be installed at the campus. “The project is worth Rs 250 crore and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been called to lay the foundation in November 2017,” said Reddy.
