NSUI to hold youth rally today for scholarships
Former Speaker of AP Legislative Assembly K R Suresh Reddy said that a Grameena Yuvagarjana Sadassu (rural youth rally) would be organised under the aegis of the National Students Union of India on October 28 at Armoor mandal in the district to bring pressure on the State government to release the fees reimbursement and scholarship amounts to the students and resolve their problems.Â
Armoor (Nizamabad): Former Speaker of AP Legislative Assembly K R Suresh Reddy said that a Grameena Yuvagarjana Sadassu (rural youth rally) would be organised under the aegis of the National Students Union of India on October 28 at Armoor mandal in the district to bring pressure on the State government to release the fees reimbursement and scholarship amounts to the students and resolve their problems.
Speaking to the media in the town along with the DCC president Teherbin Hamdaan on Wednesday, he expressed fear that the students would lose the opportunity to pursue higher education if the Government continues to withhold the release of scholarship and fee reimbursement amounts. As a result, educational institutions in the rural areas were being shut down, he lamented.
Suresh Reddy said that all the important State and district Congress leaders like MLAs, former MLAs and MLCs would take part in the conference. He urged the students to take part in the rally in large numbers and make it a grand success.
