Transport Minister attends several programmes
Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy asserted that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to create 21 new districts as per the assurances given to the people here on Thursday as part of KCR’s endeavour, RTA offices were being set up in every district.
Vikarabad: Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy asserted that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to create 21 new districts as per the assurances given to the people here on Thursday as part of KCR’s endeavour, RTA offices were being set up in every district.
Reddy was speaking to press persons after laying the foundation stone and inaugurating several development works.
He laid the foundation stone for a bridge costing Rs.30 lakh and inaugurated a Rs.1 crore sports centre, a Rs.35 lakh Mahila Samakhya Bhavan, a Rs.50 lakh junior college building and Rs.70 lakh RTA office.
The Minister said that the government would purchase new buses for providing improved services to commuters, whatever be the cost.
Among those present at the functions were MLA Rammohan Reddy, TRS Politburo Member Harishwar Reddy, besides the department officials and party leaders.
