SCR runs for unity
Led by General Manager Ravindra Gupta, a large gathering of enthusiastic participants took part in the ‘Run’, which commemorates with the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who espoused the cause of national integrity and unity.
As part of the celebrations for ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’, South Central Railway (SCR) conducted a ‘Run for Unity’ from Rail Nilayam in Secunderabad on Monday.
Led by General Manager Ravindra Gupta, a large gathering of enthusiastic participants took part in the ‘Run’, which commemorates with the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who espoused the cause of national integrity and unity.
The programme commenced with the GM administering the ‘Unity Pledge’ to officers and staff. The ‘Run’ passed through Sanchalan Bhavan, Hyderabad Bhavan, Sangeet Cross Roads, Lance Barracks, and culminated at Railway Sports Complex. The participants held banners with messages written on ‘National Integration and Unity’.
AK Gupta, Additional GM/SCR, Gajanan Mallya, Sr Deputy General Manager and Chief Vigilance Officer, SCR, Principle Heads of the Departments, Divisional Railway Managers of Secunderabad and Hyderabad Divisions and Railway officers and staff, sportspersons from railways joined for the cause.
