As part of the curtain raiser, Tollywood actress Mannara Chopra celebrated Diwali with the students over the weekend.
Pulsation with be flagged by Health Minister Dr C Laxma Reddy along with Secretary of SIMS, Shadan Tehniyat.
Speaking on the curtain raiser, Dr Sarib Rasool Khan, Managing Director SIMS and Dr VRK Women's Medical College said,
“The nine-day extravaganza is set to witness CSR initiatives like Haritha Haram, Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan, Youth Against Speed and other campaigns educating people on civic issues.
Doctors will embark on a health walk educating people on problems associated with lifestyle changes.”
Dean Dr Dinesh Raj Mathur said, “Activities, sports, social and cultural gatherings play a crucial role in doctors’ life and contributes to their overall health and mental strength.”
