The iconic Golconda Fort is the venue for ‘Jayaho Colconda & Telangana Vaibhavam’ cultural programme which will be held on Wednesday.
“The dancer Deepika Reddy and 25 students will speak heritage through their dance,” announced Padma Rajgopal, Chairperson of FICCI Ladies Organization (Flo), Hyderabad Chapter in a statement issued on Tuesday. “Deepika Reddy is a renowned Kuchipudi dancer, choreographer, guru and cultural ambassador,” Padma informed.
The event will take place in two parts; Jayaho Golconda will be performed for 13 minutes. In this the performers will highlight the history and past glory of Golconda through their dance form.
Telangana Vaibhavam will be held for 33 minutes. In this sequence, the performers will bring to life the monuments, historical and tourist centres of the State through the dance.
“It is rare, and not many are fortunate to witness it in the backdrop of the Heritage monument like Golconda. The Citadel, Golconda fort is the perfect setting for the theme of the cultural programme,” said Padma.
