The Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Festival will celebrate its 11th anniversary from November 3 to 12. Curated by playwright-director-actor Mohammad Ali Baig, the festival will feature works of international and national playwrights, directors and performers;
The Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Festival will celebrate its 11th anniversary from November 3 to 12. Curated by playwright-director-actor Mohammad Ali Baig, the festival will feature works of international and national playwrights, directors and performers;
Federico Garcia Lorca, Rabindranath Tagore, Stella Kon, Mahesh Dattani, Tom Alter, Lillette Dubey, Sohaila Kapur, Avijit Dutt, Seema Biswas, Mohammad Ali Baig, Quasar Thakore Padamsee and Ireland's Murray Molloy.
Themes range from powerful period biographies, comic social satires, jaw-dropping stunts, thought-provoking original writing and enduring Indian classics.
The festival's 'Master Classes' include sessions by Seema Biswas, Mahesh Dattani, and Murray Molloy on acting, playwriting and comic contortion for the city’s theatre lovers.
The celebration will take place at Park Hyatt Hyderabad, Taramati Baradari Auditorium, Ravindra Bharathi and Alliance Francaise.
