RGIKT will host national Math day fete
In connection with the National Mathematics Day celebrations, the Mathematics department of the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Knowledge Technologies (RGIKT) at the IIIT campus in the temple town of Basara will host two extension lectures by noted mathematicians on Thursday and Saturday.Â
​Adilabad: In connection with the National Mathematics Day celebrations, the Mathematics department of the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Knowledge Technologies (RGIKT) at the IIIT campus in the temple town of Basara will host two extension lectures by noted mathematicians on Thursday and Saturday.
Although the national mathematics day is celebrated on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Srinivasa Ramanujan on December, the RGIKT has decided to organize the celebrations earlier, according to a press release here on Wednesday.
On Thursday, Prof V Kannan, retired Professor in the University of Hyderabad will deliver lecture on “History of Three Inequalities” from 2.15 PM to 3.15 PM.
On Saturday, Prof K Satyanarayana will deliver a lecture on “History of Pi” from 2.15 to 3.15 PM at the campus premises in the AB-I auditorium.
