Gangi Reddy to be district TRS chief again?
The present District Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president Eega Ganga Reddy, in all likelihood will be given an extension, according to reliable sources in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) and his appointment in the coming days will be a mere formality.
Nizamabad: The present District Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president Eega Ganga Reddy, in all likelihood will be given an extension, according to reliable sources in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) and his appointment in the coming days will be a mere formality.
It may be recalled that Eega Ganga Reddy was made district TRS president when the then president Aaluru Ganga Reddy resigned in 2013 and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and has been continuing in the post since then.
However, his close aides said that he was not very enthusiastic for a second term as district TRS president and has been eyeing a nominated post ever since the TRS formed the government in the Telangana State.
Eega Ganga Reddy joined the TRS party in the year 2003 and became the president of the farmers’ wing of the party till 2014. In the year, he was the State TRS secretary. He is more interested in a nominated post.
