Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) has decided to explore the Buddhist heritage monuments of the State to attract the South Asian countries. 

Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) has decided to explore the Buddhist heritage monuments of the State to attract the South Asian countries.

In this regard, the department will develop the "Boudha Tourism".

In addition, TSTDC is planning to conduct global celebrations of "Buddha Dhamma" heritage of Telangana from from February 23, 2017.

The representatives of Srilanka, Malasiya, China, Tiwan, Singapore, Burma, Japan, Italy and Indonesia of buddhist will participate in the event.

In this regard, a press conference was conducted by Pervaram Ramulu, Chairman, TSTDC at Paryatak Bhavan on Tuesday.

Anand Kumar Seri, President Human Development and Peace Foundation, Malaysia attended. Dr Christina Z Chongthu, Managing Director, TSTDC, Buddavanam Special Officer Mallepalli Laxmaiah, General Manager (Marketing) TSTDC B Manohar Rao, Asst General Manager (Mktg & PR) Purandar and Telangana Tour Operators representatives attended the press meet.
