New professional certification course
Pegsystems announced a major expansion of its University Academic Program (UAP) to enhance the skills and readiness of next-generation engineers in India.
Hyderabad: Pegsystems announced a major expansion of its University Academic Program (UAP) to enhance the skills and readiness of next-generation engineers in India.
Pega has collaborated with Talent Sprint, a youth career accelerator, to deliver Pega application education and professional certifications to students at premier engineering universities across India.
The main aim of the collaboration is to provide university graduates with more access to valuable training on the industry’s most used tools and applications.
Commenting on Pega’s UAP expansion, Suman Reddy, MD, Pegasystems India,said, “India’s developer ecosystem is rapidly expanding,and with the world’s focus on India as a R&D hub, there is definitely a demand for highly-skilled talent.
Through this large-scale expansion, we want to take our existing training module and target the core of the issue we face as a country, which is up-skilling.
This program is targeted to train and certify students to becomehighly skilled market-ready engineers, who are equipped with the knowledge and skillset to innovate within our complex industry demands.”

Talent Sprint will be training up to 1800 graduates. For a nominal fee, students from institutes across Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai will be trained by university faculty by using market-leading tools and applications provided by Pega.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be prepared to pass the Pegasystems’ Certified System Architect exam to receive their final certification.
