Shalimar Cricket Club continued their juggernaut as they registered a thumping 10-wicket victory over Raju Cricket Club in the HCA ‘A’ division one-day league.

After a disciplined bowling display led by Aryan Kak (3/35) that bundled out opponents for 106 in 24 overs, Shalimar CC openers Nadeem Khan (47*) and Devesh Daima (42*) raced to the target in just six overs.
It has been a significant showing and one that evidences that their earlier epoch-making effort was no flash of isolated brilliance.
This win comes on the back of a humongous 298-run victory against Hyderabad Wanders CC, where Shalimar CC scored a mammoth 452 in 49.2 overs. Incidentally, this the highest team total in the ongoing one-day league season.
The star performers with the bat were Devesh Daima (121) and Nadeem Khan (118) while Jeetender came up with a 5/102 haul for the losing outfit.
In reply, Hyderabad Wanders CC could only muster 154 in 38.4 overs, with Vinay (5/40) starring with the ball for Shalimar CC.
