The Centre for Experiential Learning and Outdoor Leadership (CELOL) is hosting the first ever internationally accredited and certified ‘Wilderness First Aid Course’ (WFA) in the city.

The Centre for Experiential Learning and Outdoor Leadership (CELOL) is hosting the first ever internationally accredited and certified ‘Wilderness First Aid Course’ (WFA) in the city.

Organised in partnership with Hanifl Centre and AERIE Backcountry Medicine, USA, the course will be at Oakridge International School in Gachibowli from December 2 to 4.

Instructors Shantanu Pandit and Akshay Shah will teach the course, which is accredited to Wilderness Medicine Society (WMS) and American Heart Association (AHA).

WFA course comprises of a 20-hour curriculum integrating classroom instruction with scenario based learning.

The certification is a mandatory qualification for anyone leading, organising and facilitating activities in the outdoors.
