Admission process started at SRM
B.Tech admission for the academic year 2017 in SRM University has started from 19 November as per the Higher Secondary Examination and SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) (UG) 2017.
Hyderabad: B.Tech admission for the academic year 2017 in SRM University has started from 19 November as per the Higher Secondary Examination and SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) (UG) 2017.
Salient features of this year admission is that NRI, PIO and OCI card holders will have an option to seek admission by appearing for SRMJEEE (UG).
They can also apply under International category if they wish so, but by paying fees applicable for International students. SRM will be conducting online examination across 120 centers in India, and centers in Dubai, Muscat, Doha, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
The examination will be for a period of 30 days commencing from 1st of April 2017 to make it possible for candidates to choose their date and time of examination as per their convenience.
“The selection procedure will be very transparent and simple. Based on the cut-off scores for each specialization of B.Tech for each campus, merit list will be announced.
Candidates will be called for on-campus counseling as per the order of the merit and candidates can choose their preferred choice of campus and / or specialization and get admitted by paying the tuition fees.
In case a candidate just falls short of the cut-off required for a particular specialization of his/her preference, the candidate can retake the entrance examination for a maximum of two times to improve his score,” notes a source from SRM.
