The art initiative

An ensemble sketches by artists like Vijay Kumar Somanchi, Maredu Ramu, Madhu Kurva and Satya from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Maharashtra was inaugurated by Lalitha Lajmi at Novotel Hyderabad Airport as a part of the hotel’s “Galerie d’art de Novotel” initiative.

The event was attended by expats, corporate guests, art enthusiasts and key socialites, who enjoyed the home-grown art in an ambience accentuated by live music playing in the background.

The exhibition was curated by Four Forever and had a special performance by Sand Artist and Painter Sudhakanth V.

The work of artists will be displayed at the hotel till January 30, 2017.

Speaking on the occasion Ravi Khubchandani General Manager, said, “We are extremely happy at the response that we have received for the inaugural edition of “Galerie d’art de Novotel”.

The exhibition was conceptualized to promote art and culture, and also provide an opportunity to the artists, both established and aspiring, to showcase their work.

We are confident that the collection will provide new insights and perspectives on modern art and the changing demographics in our country.”
