IEEE India Entrepreneurship Initiative, in association with IEEE Hyderabad Section is organising the first IEEE Technology Entrepreneurs’ Summit 2016 at T-Hub, Hyderabad on December 18.

The Summit aims to be a highly tailored event curated for all the enthusiastic engineers who have an idea of what to create, but don’t know where to look for motivation and guidance. It also looks to boost the rate of a research idea being translated into a full-fledged product.

As per the Organising chair Amit Kumar, the summit will be inaugurated by the Information Technology Secretary to Government of Telangana and graced by MGPL Narayana, Vice President TCS Hyderabad and Lead IEEE India strategic Initiative.

This programme holds true in line with the Vision of Government of India and Government of Telangana to foster Startup culture in India.

Most of the top Engineering leaders from the world and Indian cities sent their messages and enlightened that this initiative is capable to convert engineers to entrepreneurs which may create several jobs in the coming years and help India to become the biggest start up hub as dreamt by Indian Prime minister Narendra Modi.

Out more than 300 applications were received from several cities only 100 lucky participants have been selected to be a part of this event in 2016.

Leading Speakers Include ArunVinayak of Ather Energy who developed the first electric scooter in India, Santosh Panda of Explara the leading ticketing start up from Bangalore, Rakesh Kumar from IEEE Entrepreneurship USA, Pradeeppillai from IIT Bombay SINE, Aryasekharsanyal, cofounder of city based DNA Forensic testing company BioAxis and many others.

IIT Bombay SINE will sign an MOU with IEEE India Strategic initiative to offer seed Rs 3 lakh and mentor support to selected Technology entrepreneurs from all over the country.

Technology Entrepreneurs’ Summit 2016 is a brainchild of IEEE India Entrepreneurship Initiative, which took it upon itself to fill the absence of considerable number of Engineer Entrepreneurs in the country.

The Summit is all set to host several successful entrepreneurs coming from various domains from 3D Printing to IOT to Biotechnology and Healthcare who made a mark in their respective fields, willing to share their experience with the delegates on how they’ve sustained the market and what motivated them to get started in the first place.

With events like Startups 101, Business Bootcamp, Elevator Pitch and Mentor Connect, it looks to cater to the needs of startup enthusiasts and the budding entrepreneurs alike.
