Shutterbugs of Hyderabad Digital Photography Club (HDPC) boarded the bus to Bhadrachalam and Papikondalu hills for a photography exploration trip for two days this past weekend.

Guided by Ram Nagesh Naidu, ace photographer and head of HDPC, the trip was surely promising a lot of excitement and exploration to look forward to.

The trip commenced with an overnight journey to Bhadrachalam and visit to Rama temple in the morning. The temple looked beautiful in the morning sun and the shutterbugs quickly started their photography adventure by clicking beautiful pictures of the temple outlines and exchanging notes.

Post the temple visit, the group re-converged and proceeded to a visit to a lake and then travelled Pochavaram to take the boat ride to Papi hills for two hours.

With Ram guiding the shutterbugs, the boat ride was filled with fun, frolic and a lot of good photography over the Godavari hills.

The bamboo huts looked beautiful and comforting and the scenic beauty was exquisite. Once the shutterbugs settled down in the evening post dinner, the most exciting part of the trip began – Night Photography.

Under Ram’s expert hands, the team clicked beautiful pictures of the glowing tent, light waves and steel wool fireworks. Ram demonstrated the skill of clicking sharp images using tripods and optimised camera settings.

The following morning saw a walk to jungle trail and feasting on Bamboo Chicken, a speciality of Papi Hills, in the afternoon.

Post lunch the team retired on the boat ride to come back to Bhadrachalm with a stopover at the ancient and sacred Shiva temple and then an overnight journey back to Hyderabad.

All in all, the trip was an exquisite experience and the shutterbugs mingled and exchanged their experiences. With a promise to arrange more such trips, the team bid adieu to each other in Hyderabad."
