​Hanamkonda: Warangal (West) MLA D Vinay Bhasker and District Collector Amrapali Kata have joined the pre-Christmas feast organised at CBC Church in Hanamkonda on Tuesday.
The TRS government was according equal importance to all religions and their festivals. As part of which the government has decided to present gifts packs to 1,000 poor Christians and organise feast for equal number of community members in each assembly segment, the MLA said. Vinay Bhasker served food to the community members who part in the feast and also joined the feast.
District Collector Amrapali said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was making committed efforts to take the benefits of welfare programmes to all eligible persons in the society.
She asked all the Christians in the city to open bank accounts and help the government to make the city a cashless city.
KUDA Chairman M Yadava Reddy, pastors Christopher, Issac and Immanuel, GWMC councillors Boda Dinna, Ravinder, T Vidyasagar, TRS leader G Ravi Kumar, DCO Chakradhar and others were present.
In another programme in Warangal on the day organised by Telangana Jagruthi Yuvatha, the Commissioner of Police G Sudheer Babu cut a Christmas cake. The jagruthi leaders T Bhasker, N Rani, M Chander and others were present.
