Collector reviews arrangements
The jatara is be conducted from January 27, 2017. He went round the jatara venue in Keslapur village of Indravelli mandal. Later Prakash told press persons that the annual event would be conducted next year also in a befitting manner so as not tocause any inconvenience to those attending.
Utnoor: Adilabad District Collector Buddha Prakash on Friday held a review meeting to decide on the arrangements for the Jatara of Nagoba who is worshipped by the tribals.
The jatara is be conducted from January 27, 2017. He went round the jatara venue in Keslapur village of Indravelli mandal.Later Prakash told press persons that the annual event would be conducted next year also in a befitting manner so as not tocause any inconvenience to those attending.
He said officials of various departments have been instructed to make arrangements for providing the ‘darshan’ of Nagoba. The Collector recalled that the Nagoba jatara was the second biggest event after the Sammakka-Sarakka Festival held every year in Warangal district. He said devotees of Nagoba from several States were expected to attend the jatara.
