Choutuppal: Activists of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) on Friday organised a huge public meeting here to press its demand for providing jobs to local unemployed youth in industries in the town.

Prof Qasim of the Osmania University, students of local colleges and DYFI state president Viplav attended.Addressing the meeting, Qasim accused the TRS government of providing only few jobs during its two-and-a-half years rule, despite promising employment to at least one member of a family.

He told The Hans India that government should immediately fill 1.07 lakh jobs as announced by the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

This alone will result in the formation of ‘Bangaru Telangana’. The professor threatened to launch an agitation along with lakhs of Group II applicants if the government failed to provide jobs as promised by it during elections.
