Sarees distributed to 200 poor Christian women

Warangal: About 200 poor dalit Christian women were distributed sarees marking pre-Christmas celebrations held at Immanuel Gospel Church in Warangal on Friday.
District Congress president N Rajender Reddy and city Congress president K Srinivasa Rao attended the programme as guests and distributed the sarees. Party leaders B Srinivas, P Vijay, the community members Moses Anand, Shyam, Praveen and others were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajender Reddy lauded the kind gesture of the Church in caring for the poor. Sharing one’s wealth with others would give immense pleasure and doing so on the occasion of Christmas was really laudable, he added.
