Hyderabad: Honoring the birth anniversary of the great Indian Mathematician, Srinivasa Ramanujan, Vivekananda Residential School, Karimnagar conducted math exhibition in its school campus.
The programme was exclusively titled “Math rates” with the tag line, “Museum of mathematics”. A beautiful Rangoli of Srinivasa Ramanujan by Vaishnavi Reddy of Class XII ornamented the dias of the school. Many interesting projects were made and demonstrated by the students. Parents too visited the exhibits of the children.
The programme started with remembering Srinivasa Ramanujan. It was a great day and a great experience for all the teachers and students of VRS. The exhibits were all on various interesting topics like trigonometry, money, profit and loss, fractions, application of mathematics in agriculture and various aspects of life, constructions etc,.
The students and the teachers were appreciated by the school Chairman Dr Sudhakar Rao Polsani, Principal T Lalitha Kumari, and their math HOD, Susmita for their extraordinary presentation skills.
