Suryapet: Showing leadership qualities and becoming a source of inspiration to others, some students of Sri Venkateshwara College voluntarily came forward and adopted 18 villages to turn them as cashless transactions villages in the district.

As many as 33 students, including 15 girls, came forward and adopted 18 villages and took the responsibility of turning them into cashless transactions villages by educating the villagers.

They adopted Kattangur, Mothey, Chivvemla, Thadurai, Gorenkalapally and Thalla Khammamphad, Vasramnayak Thanda, Nimmikal, Thallagadda, Kodur, Gantavarygudem, Miryala, MG Road, Atmakur, Pillalamarri, Gunjaluru, Rajenigudem and Nagaihgudem villages in the district.

Bharath and Babu, who adopted Mothey, informed that they would visit the village and educate the people on cashless transactions soon.
