New cultural space in memory of Rajaji

A new cultural centre ‘Rajaji’s Library and Cultural Centre’ was inaugurate as a tribute to Chakravarti Rajagopalachari aka Rajaji, the last Governor-General of India, in Alwal.

Y Srinivasa Rao, Scientist DRDO (Defense Research Development Organisation) inaugurated the centre in the premises of Rajaji International Institute for Public Affairs and Administration (RIIPAA), on the occasion of Rajaji’s death anniversary at Bolarum Alwal Rytu Bazar, Secunderabad on Tuesday.

Rajaji’s Library and Cultural Centre will have a library, reading room, cultural centre, yoga training centre, sport coaching centre etc.

It will also conduct regular musical concerts to give opportunity for young artists. It will also organise various programs to promote art, culture and literature.

Retired Lt. General V Subramanian, professor A Narasimha Rao, Honourary Director for RIIPAA, E Sadashiva Reddy, Director, RIIPAA and Ramesh, International Athletic Coach were also present for the event, and paid tributes to Rajaji.
