Operation Smile-3: Specal teams constituted
Superintendent of Police N Prakash Reddy stated that teams with five policemen each were constituted for every sub-division to carry out Operation Smile-3 in the district.
​Nalgonda: Superintendent of Police N Prakash Reddy stated that teams with five policemen each were constituted for every sub-division to carry out Operation Smile-3 in the district.
On Tuesday, a meeting was organised at DPO office meeting hall by the Superintendent of Police with the officials of Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) and department of police.
Addressing the officials, Prakash Reddy asserted that the police teams headed by SIs would carry out Operation Smile-3, which was aimed at tracing missing children and child labour.
In this operation, Child Welfare Committee members, police officials, officials of ICDS, Labor department and education department would work collectively.
As a part of the operation, teams would recognise children roaming near railway stations, bus stands, footpaths and children working in the restaurants and lodges, and rescue them. They would also trace the missing children and try to unite them with their parents, he added.
CIs Danunjay, Ravinder, SIs Arif, Sardar Naik, Balagopal, Prakash, Child Line District Coordinator Nagi Reddy and District Child Protection Officer Ganesh took part in the meeting.
