12 pensioners injured

Around 500 pensioners were queued up at the post office situated near NSP Camp Office in Miryalaguda town to get their pensions. Beneficiaries of 14, 15, 16 and 17 wards in the town would receive their Aasara pensions at NSP Camp Post Office.
Nalgonda: Minor jostling by pensioners in a queue line at a post office resulted in injuries to about 12 differently-abled and old aged persons. The incident took place in Miryalguda on Wednesday.
Around 500 pensioners were queued up at the post office situated near NSP Camp Office in Miryalaguda town to get their pensions. Beneficiaries of 14, 15, 16 and 17 wards in the town would receive their Aasara pensions at NSP Camp Post Office.
As pensioners were standing in the queue line, a minor scuffle took place. As a result, some 12 old aged and disabled pensioners fell and received minor injuries in the incident. On information, police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
