CPI (M) slams CM, stages dharna

Sathupalli: Activists of the CPI (M) on Thursday staged a dharna in this mandal centre to protest against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s comments in the State Assembly against the party. The activists’ attempt to burn an effigy of KCR was thwarted by the police. The party leaders were taken into custody and shifted to the nearest police station.

Addressing the protestors, a district leader of CPI, B Rambabu, critisied the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for his comments in the State Assembly on Wednesday against the party.
Stating that the comments lack grace, Rambabu and other party leaders demanded replacement of the new Bill passed by the Assembly on Wednesday. They called upon the TRS government to stop taking steps that harm the interests of the farming community.
