Commitment key to success

Hanamkonda: Education is the most powerful weapon with which the youth can change world, Dr Chellu S Chetty, Associate Vice-President for Research and Sponsored Programs and Regents Distinguished Professor of Biology at Savannah State University, said, delivering a keynote address at the seventh convocation of Chaitanya Degree and PG College (Autonomous) here on Friday.
“Commitment and hard work will pay off.

Hard work will help students reach pinnacles of success,” he exhorted, heaping praise on the college management for its endeavours in imparting quality education for the last 26 years.

Telangana Joint Action Committee chairman Prof Kodandaram said that providing quality education on par with the international standards is commendable.Kakatiya University controller of examinations K Purushotham said that it’s time for the pass out students to show their prowess to get placements in reputed companies.

Earlier in his opening address, Chaitanya College Chairman Ch V Purushotham Reddy said that during 2015-16 as many as 196 students of the college got placements in multinational companies.In all, 765 students received their degrees. Of which 247 are from degree courses and rest are post-graduates. Principal K Veera Venkataiah was among others present.
