With a view to ensure safety of the denizens, the Police Commissionerate has issued a warning that a stern action will be taken against drunk drivers.In a statement released on Friday, the Commissioner of Police G Sudheer Babu said that special teams have been deployed to see that revelries remained under control.

As part of security measure, police will patrol between 10 pm of Saturday and 4 am of Sunday. The police will have breath analysers with them to check. He also warned the managements of hotels, restaurants and dhabas to shutdown their business midnight.
