Accolades galore for HDPC photographer

City-based photographer and founder of Hyderabad Digital Photography Club (HDPC), Ram Nagesh Naidu is on cloud 9 these days.And, rightly so! His photograph of the iconic stone chariot at Vittala Temple in Hampi has bagged the third position at the ‘Wiki Loves Monuments 2016 (India)’ contest.

City-based photographer and founder of Hyderabad Digital Photography Club (HDPC), Ram Nagesh Naidu is on cloud 9 these days.

And, rightly so! His photograph of the iconic stone chariot at Vittala Temple in Hampi has bagged the third position at the ‘Wiki Loves Monuments 2016 (India)’ contest.

In addition, the award-winning photograph has been nominated for an international contest.

Nagesh, a self-taught photographer, won the award in December 2016.

He received a notification from Wiki that read, “We are delighted to inform you that your photo has won a prize in the national version of ‘Wiki Loves Monuments’.

That means, officially, your photo has been ranked top 10 out of 37,000+ photos that we received.”
