Students told to achieve good results: MLA Jalagam Venkat Rao
Local MLA Jalagam Venkat Rao visited the Katurba Gandhi girls’ high school at Palwancha on Monday.
Kothagudem: Local MLA Jalagam Venkat Rao visited the Katurba Gandhi girls’ high school at Palwancha on Monday.
While addressing the students, he said that Telangana government is spending crores of rupees for the welfare of backward classes. The students should make use of it and achieve good results.
He also stressed on the need of digital classes which will increase the students’ interest rate towards education. He asked the officials to make arrangements for the display of Police, Revenue and Health department s’ mobile numbers in the school premises.
He asked the parents to admit their wards in hostels and monitor their performance on a weekly-basis. While addressing the meeting, district education officer Hayagreeva Chary said that students can reach the heights with the co-operation of each and every one.
Earlier, the MLA disbursed blankets to the students. Kasturba Gandhi school special officer Tulasi, Tahsildar Ganya, the police officials and others attended the programme.
