Suryapet: District Collector Surendra Mohan on Wednesday said that the district administration is ready to extend all sorts of co-operation to builders who come forward for the construction of sanctioned 2 BHK houses in the district.Collector while interacted with builders at Collectorate said that special attention would be paid for the supply of sand, cement, fly ash and chips for hassle free construction of 2 BHKs.

Cement factories in the district accepted to supply Rs 230 per bag and signed MOUs with companies for the supply of quantity cement without advance payments to relive the contractors he informed.Companies would supply cement to contractors once they commence works of 2 BHKs and cement billing amount would be paid to companies directly by government, he added.Negotiations are going on with companies to reduce the cost of cement bags and sand would be supplied from nearest quarries at free of cost but builders have to bear the charges of transportation, he informed.

Fly ash would be supplied freely from respective Thermal power centres which fall within a 100kms radius of 2 BHK house sites.Government will provide sufficient funds to facilitate payment of bills within 24 hours from the submission of MBs. Sufficient chips for the construction of houses would be supplied with the co-operation of stone crushing mills, he underlined.He suggested that the builders cross check with the builders of 2 BHK houses at Golla Bazar and Singireddy palli of Suryapet town in regard to the co-operation of district administration.

Government allotted 400 houses to each constituency and 1600 houses to Suryapet district. The construction of 530 houses is already in the progress which includes 192 houses in Suryapet, 128 in Singireddy palli, 80 in Tirumalgiri of Chivvemla mandal and 75 houses each in Maddirala and Kottapalli, Collector informed.Suryapet town is going to get additional 2 BHK houses under CM quota, he added. He urged the contractors to extend their co-operation for the construction of sanctioned 1600 double bed room houses to the district.

He also urged companies to come forward for the construction of houses to poor under social responsibility to carve CM’s dream of Golden Telangana.JC Sanjeeva Reddy, P D housing Rajesh kumar.
