Contract lecturers support extended

Nalgonda: CLP deputy floor leader and Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy exemplified the Egypt public revolt on government and suggested CM KCR to fulfill all poll promises and aspirations of the people before Telangana become another Egypt. On Thursday, he along with former Nakerekal MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah visited contract lecturers’ dharna camp at Clock Tower in Nalgonda and expressed solidarity with them.

Addressing the protesters, Komatireddy stated that CM KCR came into power with false promises and now became a dictator. He demanded the State government to regularize the services of contract lecturers working in government colleges, which was promised by TRS government during elections.

The government is in the clutches of KCR family members and ministers are just mute spectators of the show, he mocked. CM KCR and his family members are spending lavish life with public money but are not ready to hike the salaries of contract lecturers who are giving valuable services in the field of education to poor students of government colleges.

He assured the contract lecturers that he would raise the issue in the ongoing Legislative Assembly council to get a proper reply from the government.
