Nalgonda: District SP Prakash Reddy stated that fencing is an ancient game which improves physical fitness and mental balance. On Wednesday, he along with JC Satyanarayana Reddy launched under-19 National level boys and girls fencing tournament at Indrareddy function hall in Nalgonda.

SGF Organizing committee members Rajashekar Reddy and Ashok Reddy informed that the five day National level fencing tournament is from 7th January till 11th January. 15 State teams including 310 girls and boys across the country will be participating in the event. Accommodation to players was provided at local Don Bosco College they added.In this inaugural program RDO Venkata Chary, local government college principals Narsi Reddy and Anjaiah, Don Bosco principal Shouri Reddy, Damoder Reddy, team managers, coaches and sport lovers participated.
