Nalgonda: TJAC Chairman Professor Kodandaram quoting Dr B R Ambedkar stated that people must be alert and active throughout the tenure of the ruling government, to make officials more responsible in administration and assurances.

Addressing the gathering, he expressed his concern over the continuation of Andhra contractors and educational institutes’ saga in Telangana. He questioned the Telangana leaders about ‘the address of self respect’ which was the main slogan during Telangana agitation.

He welcomed High Court’s intermediate verdict on State government's brain child ‘land acquisition GO 123’ and suggested the government to honor the court as per the LA act 2013 which was passed in parliament and approved by President of India.

He said that dance and songs are part and parcel of the lives of people of this region and cannot imagine Telangana agitation without singers’ key role. He appreciated the efforts by singer Apuri Somanna for creating awareness among people on rights and responsibilities through his thought provoking songs and meetings.

He advised the government to consider the opinion of people before taking-up any program in the name of public interest and State development.Telangana Udyama Vedika president Cheruku Sudhakar in his speech slammed the government on anti-public policies. TUV would take the lead in uniting victims, likeminded people, organizations and leaders to float a new political party in the State to teach CM KCR a lesson in 2019 elections, he said.

Performances by Apuri Somanna and his associates impressed the audience. Praja Porata Samithi State president Nune Venkata Swamy, TJAC district convener Gopal Reddy, Retired IAS Chollati Prabhakar, IDWA leader Prabhavathi and people in large numbers attended the meeting.
