Bhadrachalam: Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy appeared as Balarama during Vykunta Ekadasi celebrations organised here on Friday. Special pujas were performed on the occasion. Later the Lord was taken to the venue at Mithila stadium amid vedic chanting, holy music, in a procession by women devotees.

Chintalapati Sriramaraju and his spouse Lakshmi Kalyani presented Koil Alwar pandal on the name of Chintalapati Gopalaraju and Lilavathi. The Rs 2 lakh worth pandal was named as Koil Alwar mandir by the priests.Vigilance regional SP Surender Reddy visited the temple and participated in special prayers. Vigilance CI N Venkatesh accompanied him.
