Theft case cracked within 24 hours
The I Town police officials received a complaint on January 5th from an aged woman, Chandrakantamma of Sambani nagar of Khammam city, that she was robbed of her four golden bangles of six tolas and a chain of four tolas by an unknown mask man at her home.
Khammam: The I Town police on Friday cracked the theft case within 24 hours and nabbed a person who was allegedly involved in a burglary case and seized 10 tolas of gold from his possession here in Khammam.The accused was identified as Yadula Anil Kumar (34), son of Mariyanna resident of P V Colony, Singareni quarters of Manuguru of Kothagudem District.

After receiving the complaint, Circle Inspector Rehman of I Town along with his staff started a man hunt and nabbed Y Anil Kumar who was a tenant of Chandrakanthamma and recovered gold from his possession.Two Vehicle lifters nabbed The II Town police officials nabbed two nabbed tow persons involved in various theft cases of two wheelers in and around the Khammam city here on Friday. Addressing the press conference the Sub Divisional Police Official K Suresh Kumar said that during a vehicle check at NTR Circle and Bypass road the police on suspension arrested two persons for questioning.
During interrogation, the duo accepted that they were lifting two wheelers from various places. Based on their information the police arrested the two persons and recovered five two wheelers from their possession worth Rs 2.50 lakh. The DSP K Suresh Kumar appreciated the police official II Town Inspector Ch Raji Reddy, SI D Vijay Kumar, SI of Crime department V Hanumantha Rao along with others for bursting the two wheeler theft case.
