2 Ammaodi vehicles launched
The legislator said the 102 vehicles would ensure that a pregnant woman, right from the time of conceiving to the ninth month, ferried to the nearest government hospital for receiving better medical care apart from taking her to the hospital for a safe delivery and also bring her back home post the delivery. He appealed to the poor women to make use of the facility.
Manuguru: Pinapaka MLA P Venkateshwarlu on Sunday launched two Ammaodi (102) vehicles on the premises of Aswapuram Government Hospital.Addressing the gathering, the MLA stated that the TRS government’s aim was to provide better health facilities to the poor, girijans and the weaker sections of society and help them tread the path of progress.

District Medical and Health Officer Venkateshwar Rao attributed the deaths of mothers and infants to low blood availability prior to delivery. Besides, it was also affecting the health of both lactating mothers and infants.
