Lateef Saheb Dargah Urs from Jan 19
He said the Urs will begin with carrying ‘Gandham’ to the Dargah atop the hill of Lateef Saheb from Madina Masjid in a procession at 9 pm on January 19, in the presence of District Collector and Superintendent of Police. Poor feeding, Quran recitals and Qawwali programmes would also organised as part of the fest.
Nalgonda: The famous Lateef Saheb Dargah is all set for Urs from January 19. On Sunday, Urs Committee meeting was held on the premises of the Dargah.Speaking on the occasion, Urs Committee vice-chairman Syed Jaffer said necessary arrangements would be made for the three-day festival.

TRS Assembly Constituency in-charge Dubbaka Narsimha Reddy informed that the Chief Minister has asked the officials to send revised estimates for setting up of ghat road to Dargah and the government was yet to receive it from the district administration. TDP Nalgonda Assembly Constituency in-Charge Kancharla Bhupal Reddy stated that Rs 16 crore have been sanctioned by the State government for laying of ghat road to Dargah, but it was not materialised due to negligence of the local MLA Komatireddy Venkatreddy, he alleged.CPM leader Syed Hasham, Tahsildar Vinay Kumar and Muslim religious elders participated.
