Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has been awarded the CBIP Award 2017 for 'Best Power Equipment Manufacturing Organisation'.
The award was received by Akhil Joshi, Director (Power), BHEL, from Sanjeev Kumar Balyan, Union Minister of State for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation on CBIP Day.
BHEL has been conferred with the award for its contribution in manufacturing a range of equipment for the core sectors of the economy including power generation, transmission and renewable energy.
